Glen S. Grosteffon, 76 of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo.  Born March 7, 1939, in Petersburg, MI, he was the son of Dawson and Bessie (Miller) Grosteffon. A 1957 graduate of Bedford High School, he married Patricia A. Kowalski on September 12, 1959. Glen was  employed as a bailiff for Monroe County for 20 years, retiring in 2004. Prior, he worked as a truck driver and dispatcher for the former National Cement Company.  Glen was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Temperance, member and  past president of the Bedford Lions Club and past District Governor for the Lions of Michigan. He was former Monroe County Commissioner, served on the Bedford Township Planning Board, Chairman of the Monroe County Pension Board for 10 years, coached and umpired 3-B Baseball, and was sports photographer for Bedford Athletic Department. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and traveling.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia; sons, Cameron and Scott (Denise) Grosteffon; grandchildren, Ella, Jack, Ryan, Karis, Kallie and Dylan; Great grandchildren, Bellaluna and Thor; Sisters, Loann Garno and Sharon (Ted) Bialorucki; best friends, Keith and Jean Holmes.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 19, 2015, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 9144 Lewis Avenue, Temperance, MI. Pastor Lewis Carlson, officiating.
